Could I use a spreadsheet?
Yes. A spreadsheet and folders can organize the same material. CrashValue Claim supplies the linked records, missing-source checks and joined packet so you do not have to set up those relationships yourself.
Does it handle my claim?
No. You gather evidence, choose the assumptions, review the packet and contact the insurer yourself. The app supplies no appraisal, legal eligibility decision, filing or negotiation service. It cannot establish causation or predict payment.
Which cases are record-only?
Total loss, incomplete or defective repairs, injury, commercial fleet, disputed ownership or lease, signed release, disputed fault and multistate disputes are record-only. Comparison is suppressed. This is a product limit, not a conclusion about your rights.
Where do my records go?
Claim entries are processed in your browser. Download the standalone HTML app for offline use. Keep JSON backups: browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, and it does not sync between devices. Stripe separately handles checkout information.
What if it is not useful?
Email hello@moneyyoureowed.com within 30 days of purchase for a refund. No insurer acceptance, payout or court-use condition applies. Include your purchase email or receipt reference; leave claim documents out of the email.
