Official terms (last updated August 1, 2026) rechecked September 30, 2026 · sections 3.1–3.4

Build the evidence register before you build the claim.

Airbnb Damage Claim Builder turns scattered incident facts, line items, originals, timestamps and messages into one private inventory you can review before using Airbnb’s own process.

It will not write a claim story or create evidence. Your entries stay in your browser. Airbnb—not this software—decides eligibility, verification and payment.

14 daysCurrent section 3.1.2 window for guest-recovery and complaint steps after checkout.
30 daysCurrent section 3.3 window for the formal request and legitimate/verifiable evidence.

Terms can change and facts can alter the route. The workspace shows reference dates, then requires you to verify the live official terms before relying on them.

FICTIONAL SAMPLE · NOT A REAL CLAIM

From “a chair broke” to a record another person can audit.

The product’s advantage is not more prose. It is a consistent relationship between each amount, its condition record, proof of ownership, estimate, evidence ID and timeline fact.

What a rushed host starts with

“Chair broken after checkout. Quote is $185.50. I have a photo, the old receipt and a message to the guest somewhere.”

The sentence is not submitted or polished. It becomes separate facts that can each be checked.

Everything Airbnb’s current evidence section makes worth organizing.

Section 3.3.2 asks for the time, cause and origin of loss; a complete inventory; condition and acquisition details; estimates or receipts; amount; ownership/responsibility proof; and other requested information. The app gives each one a home without deciding whether the loss qualifies.

01

Record the incident

Checkout, discovery time, observed facts, cause/origin uncertainty, and current 14/30-day reference dates.

02

Itemize the loss

Description, make/model, purchase date, before/after condition, repair or replacement basis, amount and proof references.

03

Index originals

Photos, videos, receipts, estimates, messages and reports are labelled locally; the files themselves are not uploaded.

04

Export the packet

Print or save a structured HTML evidence inventory and export/restore a portable JSON record.

FREE OFFICIAL ROUTE

You can do all of this yourself for $0.

Airbnb’s Resolution Center and official terms are the process. A careful host can make the same tables in a spreadsheet and keep their own folders. The paid product sells guided structure, local persistence, completeness flags and repeatable exports—not access or influence.

Your evidence files never enter the app.

You record labels and relationships. Photos, videos, receipts and messages remain wherever you store them. The app sends no evidence text or file to Money You’re Owed, Airbnb or an AI service. Optional device saving uses browser localStorage; clear and export controls stay with you.

No generated evidence or narrative

The current terms say submitted documents and information must be true, accurate and not doctored or falsified—including by AI. The product therefore organizes facts instead of drafting a persuasive story.

No eligibility or coverage verdict

Airbnb reviews the request under its current terms and the reservation facts.

No valuation or depreciation advice

You enter your records and amounts; the app totals them but does not decide the payable amount.

No filing or representation

You review and use Airbnb’s own process. This is self-help organization software, not legal advice or claims representation.

Buy the organization—not a reimbursement promise.

The strongest reason not to buy is simple: the official route is free, and a spreadsheet can hold these fields. The $47 product is for the host who wants the complete current-source checklist, related registers, local save/restore, readiness flags and a readable export without building the system during a live incident.

The price is a launch hypothesis, not proof of demand. No customer result, payout rate or “money recovered” claim is implied.

Straight answers before checkout.

Will it write my Airbnb claim?

No. It creates an evidence inventory packet made of structured user-entered facts. It deliberately does not generate a guest message, reimbursement narrative, legal argument or proof.

Does it tell me whether AirCover applies?

No. The current Host Damage Protection terms define the process and eligible losses; Airbnb evaluates the request. The app only identifies empty organizer categories and shows the source date.

Are 14 and 30 days guaranteed to apply?

No. Those are the current general steps in sections 3.1.2 and 3.3 of the terms last updated August 1, 2026, rechecked September 30, 2026. Terms, account flows, facts and exceptions can change. Verify the live official terms before relying on a date.

Do I upload evidence files?

No. You record labels, sources, timestamps and what each file supports. The original file stays in your own storage.

Can I use it without buying?

You can build the same record manually using Airbnb’s free official process, a spreadsheet and your own folders. The paid workspace removes setup and organization work.

What is the refund policy?

Email [email protected] within 30 days for a refund. The refund does not depend on Airbnb’s decision.
